Prairie’s Edge is inspired as a social community designed to foster inter-connectivity among its residents. Homes and pathways are oriented to spur interaction. Prairie’s Edge will include three phases, the north, consists of 14 lots for semi-custom or full custom lakefront cottages and a 36-unit senior residence offering assisted living and memory care. The center will consist of 156 luxury apartments in three buildings, 8 lakefront lot/cottages packages, up to 15,000 sq. ft. of commercial space for local professional and medical offices, neighborhood retail, and restaurants.
A planned full service health club will provide all the equipment, personal training and group instruction options you need to keep yourself in peak condition – and membership is included for all residents.
The south will include 9 lakefront lots for semi-custom homes, 16 pocket neighborhood homes oriented around a central courtyard, and 20 townhomes with a variety of floorplans.
A planned community clubhouse overlooking Lake Michigan will feature a community room, outdoor patio, demonstration kitchen, golf simulator, lap pool and more.
Live Actively
No matter the day or time of year, wake up to morning yoga or sunrise boot camps with your neighbors – in the health club or along the bluff. Or, take a few laps in the pool.
Walk into the health club and attend an individual or group online fitness class. Venture outside to walk, run or bike the entire 30 miles of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. Or, hike the 73-acre Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve or the forthcoming 131-acre Cedar Gorge Clay Bluffs Nature Preserve less than one mile south. Return for a relaxing massage.
Live Socially
Like to ease into your day instead? Grab a pastry and soak up some morning rays over coffee or tea in the clubhouse. On colder days, enjoy a book by the clubhouse fireplace or simply draw inspiration from the view looking out on the water from one of the community gazebos.
After work, whatever the season, polish up your swing with our commercial golf simulator. Or, challenge your neighbor to a simulated round on a world-renowned course. Sign up for one of many group or individual cooking classes, or to try your hand as a master brewer by making your own beer.

When weekends roll around, whether you like fishing from shore or chartering a boat, you are only steps away from what made Port Washington famous. If you love the water, but not into fishing, set out for a sunset sail, or an afternoon of kayaking or other water sports.
Or, simply enjoy the abundant wildlife surrounding your new home. While active and social, your new community has also been designed to respect the natural serenity of the site and lakefront location. The natural landscape and retained green space maintain a secluded feel for your personal quiet enjoyment.

As a member of the Prairie’s Edge community; landscaping, trash, recycling and snow removal services are all included with your residency. Secure package delivery via an 24-hour accessible private delivery storage lockers is also included.
